In the world of Vesper
Kaela links the cockpit’s information to the world outside it. She interprets scan results, tracks threats and warns when the ship’s systems cannot support the pilot’s next manoeuvre. The design gives her a continuing presence rather than occasional exposition.
Her precision does not make her omniscient. The Seed confronts her with information that resists an ordinary explanation. Her measured observations and dry humour establish how she and Daniel work together under pressure.
