Morrow: the ship is home

An independent courier and salvage conversion, carrying Daniel Vance, Kaela Inferna and a job that refuses to stay small.

Development preview · This article describes the current design. Proposed story details and features may change before release.

One ship across the campaign

The current direction follows a single player-controlled ship. Morrow begins as reliable but outdated equipment, not a legendary vessel. The investment is in learning that ship and changing it throughout the adventure.

The world is experienced through its cockpit, external camera, sensors, communications and docking interfaces. The design does not include walking as a human character. The character models here are portraits for inspection, not evidence of on-foot gameplay.

Upgrades you can feel

Proposed upgrade categories are drive, shields, hull, weapons, sensors, utilities and story-related capabilities of Kaela’s core. Each targets a recognisable part of flight or survival instead of an enormous abstract skill tree.

The visual goal is for the journey to show in reinforcement, attached modules, reactor light and cockpit instrumentation. These are development intentions; the hangar remains a collection of the original assets available today.
