How to play CONTRABAND on Steam

2026 update: The browser tab version is retired. Follow these steps for the Steam PC release.

Quick start

1. Install the Steam client if you do not have it.
2. Open the CONTRABAND store page and add the game to your library (or try the demo if listed).
3. Launch from your Steam library. First load may take a minute while shaders and assets cache.
4. Use keyboard + mouse. See the controls cheatsheet for defaults.

Saves and achievements

Progress uses local save files with optional Steam Cloud sync. Achievements unlock through Steam (140 total).
