FEWER MENUS. MORE IMAGINATION.

From “what if…”
to your wallpaper.

A creative studio on your computer. Choose a scene, define the movement and bring the result to your desktop. Advanced options are there when you need them.

01

ONE IDEA → ONE IMAGE

Imagine your scene.

Describe the place you would like to see on the other side of your screen. Choose a studio idea or write your own: a mountain retreat, a nighttime city or a distant planet. FLUX turns your words into an image saved on your PC.

02

ONE IMAGE → ONE VIDEO

Give it movement.

Decide what should move: water, leaves, clouds or light. Wan generates new frames from the image and your description. The simple workflow suggests a model and duration for your hardware; advanced controls remain available.

03

YOUR VIDEO → YOUR DESKTOP

Make it your wallpaper.

Review the result and click “Poner de fondo”. The video plays behind your Windows desktop icons. Pause it, remove it or download the MP4. The AI model is unloaded when generation finishes: enjoying your wallpaper does not require ongoing generation.

YOUR PC IS THE CENTER OF IT ALL

AI works here.
Your worlds stay here, too.

Your description is processed on your GPU. Images and videos are saved to your drive. After model setup, create offline without a generation-service account or buying credits whenever inspiration strikes.

Internet is used to download the app, components and models. Generation uses your hardware resources; playing a finished video is a separate task and does not keep the AI model loaded.

ONE STUDIO. MANY POSSIBILITIES.

Make room
for your imagination.

Create, edit, animate and try again. MAS brings together tools for building a personal wallpaper collection, with a local library that keeps your explorations.

01

Original wallpapers from a prompt

Turn a description into a panoramic image. Explore futuristic rooms, fantasy landscapes, forests or space scenes. Change the seed to try other compositions and keep each result in your local history.

02

Editing that preserves the original

Select an image and describe what you want to change: colors, lighting or scene elements. An edit is saved as a new version so you can compare it with the previous one. Changes depend on the model and may not be exact.

03

Animation generated with local AI

Wan 2.2 generates new frames from an image and a motion description. Animate water, leaves, clouds or lighting. Wan 5B also accepts a prompt without an image. Export MP4 with original motion or a forward-and-reverse loop.

04

Video on your Windows desktop

Apply video behind desktop icons, choose a display and decide whether to fill the screen or show the entire frame. Playback pauses for full-screen applications, battery power or AI generation. The system tray menu lets you reopen, pause or exit.

05

More power when your GPU allows it

FLUX.2 klein 4B creates and edits images quickly. Qwen Image 2512 20B offers a more demanding image option. Wan 5B and Wan 14B Pro generate video. The catalog detects VRAM and RAM, recommends profiles and verifies every download.

06

Your library, under your control

Filter images and videos, compare edits with the original and download your results. Delete creations you no longer want and restore them from the local trash if you change your mind. Files and prompts remain on your own computer.

07

Automatic output resolution

Version 0.5.1 detects the monitor and fits output to its dimensions within its limits. It attempts local AI enhancement when time allows, and uses conventional scaling if the estimate does not fit. A 4K output is not the same as detail generated at native 4K.

08

A clear waiting limit

Each video attempt has a five-minute budget including export. Optional enhancement adapts to the remaining time. If generation cannot finish, it stops and you can try a shorter clip: this is not a promise that every configuration will complete within that time.

A DESKTOP THAT FEELS LIKE YOU

Your space.
Your way to inhabit it.

A wallpaper does not need to be spectacular all the time. It can be a place you like returning to, an atmosphere for creating or an idea you have not yet found in a collection.

GAMING & PERSONALITY

For your setup.

Build the atmosphere of your space: a space station, a futuristic city or a fantasy landscape. Keep icon areas clear and motion away from your main focus. Full-screen application pausing helps separate your game from the wallpaper.

WORK & CALM

For your focus.

Try a window with soft rain, a garden at sunrise or a warm retreat. Describe only a few moving elements and a fixed camera. A pleasant wallpaper can accompany your desktop without becoming a scene that competes for your attention.

CREATION & EXPLORATION

For exploring ideas.

Save variations in lighting, color and composition to develop your own visual language. Download results you like and keep working with them in your tools. Review model licenses and rights to any reference material before distributing results.

YOUR FIRST PROMPT CAN BE SIMPLE

Start with
a good idea.

Choose an atmosphere. Copy the scene description to create an image, then the motion to animate it in the application. This explorer prepares text; it does not generate images or run AI on your GPU from the website.

01 / CREATE THE IMAGE

Ethereal forest

An ancient forest at sunrise, enormous trees beside a river, soft mist and shafts of light through the leaves. Panoramic composition, quiet space for desktop icons, no text.

02 / ADD MOVEMENT

The river flows, mist drifts slowly and leaves sway gently. Fixed camera. Keep tree trunks and rocks stable.

Three details that help the model.

Define the place. Describe the setting, lighting and composition. Leave visual space for your icons.

Separate scene and motion. First create an image you like. Then specify what changes and what should remain stable.

Start with something specific. A stream of water is easier to assess than many simultaneous actions. Review the clip before applying it.

FROM THE SCENE TO YOUR SCREEN

More space.
The right proportions.

Full HD, ultrawide or 4K: delivery size should fit your desktop. The beta preserves the scene without distortion and adds blurred areas when the source format differs.

Full HD

1920 × 1080

A familiar format to start with. Output preserves scene proportions.

Ultrawide

3440 × 1440

More horizontal room. A narrower source scene is preserved with blurred sides.

4K UHD

3840 × 2160

High-resolution output. Sharpness depends on the source video and processing applied.

Super ultrawide

5120 × 1440

Handled by automatic fitting; physical testing of this format is pending.

Output resolution ≠ native detail.

The source image, animation and scaling determine final sharpness. The beta caps output at about 8.3 MP and 5120 pixels per side. A 7680 × 2160 panel will not receive native video at that resolution. When there is insufficient time for AI enhancement, the app prioritizes a lighter output.

YOUR HARDWARE HAS THE FINAL SAY

Start light.
Explore more if you can.

The simple workflow combines FLUX for images and Wan for video. The catalog shows installed models, remaining downloads and recommendations based on your PC’s VRAM and RAM.

Windows 10/11 x64 + NVIDIA CUDA + WebView2. Tested on an RTX 5090 with 32 GB. The RTX 3080 is a target awaiting physical testing. This package does not offer supported generation on AMD, Intel, CPU, Mac or Linux.

Initial models occupy several gigabytes: approximately 6.3 GB for FLUX or 9.4 GB for Wan 5B from scratch, with shared components. Allow extra space for extraction, outputs and trash. A larger model does not guarantee better quality or shorter times.

From finding a wallpaper to imagining it.

Wallpaper libraries, scene editors and AI tools meet different needs. If you want to choose among a community’s creations, an established library can be your starting point. If you want to experiment with your own idea and process it on your computer, a local generation studio opens another path.

Our approach brings that path to people who do not want to configure separate tools for every step. An image, a movement and a button to bring it to the desktop. The beta continues to evolve: output quality, a clear process and responsible use of GPU time guide development.

YOUR FIRST DAY IN THE STUDIO

Download. Set up.
Make it yours.

The application is portable: you do not need to install Python or build a node workflow. Initial setup downloads models; later sessions reuse what you have already saved.

  1. Extract the ZIP.

Save the package and choose “Extract All” in Windows. Open the executable from the extracted folder.

  2. Set up FLUX and Wan.

The application shows available models and download sizes. Start with FLUX 4B and Wan 5B.

  3. Create your first scene.

Choose an idea or paste a prompt. Review the image, add motion and select “Poner de fondo”.

  4. Keep your library.

When updating, replace the executable with the app closed. Keep the data folder to preserve models and creations.

STRAIGHTFORWARD ANSWERS

Before you open
your next world.

What you should know about local AI live wallpapers, privacy, models, compatibility and everyday use on Windows.

01Can I download a more powerful model?

Yes. The catalog offers FLUX 4B and Qwen Image 20B for images, and Wan 5B or Wan 14B Pro for video. It detects your VRAM and RAM and shows recommendations and download size. A larger model takes longer and does not guarantee a better result every time; start with a short test.

02How do I delete images or videos?

Select a creation and click “Borrar”. It moves to the local trash, where it can be restored. If it is the active wallpaper or is being used by an ongoing generation, remove the wallpaper or wait first. Trash still takes up space in your data folder.

03What happens when I close the window?

With a wallpaper active, closing the window keeps the application in the system tray so playback continues. Its menu can reopen the studio, pause, resume, remove the wallpaper or exit. “Salir” closes the application and removes the animation.

04Is MAS Wallpaper Studio free?

Yes. Beta 0.5.1 is free to download from this page, with no registration, payment card or subscription. This download does not require Stripe. Terms for future versions may change; the version you are downloading is shown here.

05Is it portable or does it need installation?

The program is a portable executable distributed in a ZIP: extract the files and open the .exe. It does not install Python or need a setup wizard. It does prepare AI models on first use and saves data in your Windows profile; it does not keep everything inside the ZIP or on a USB drive.

06Does it need internet or a paid API?

Internet is needed to download the application, engine and initial models. After setup, generation and editing run locally. It does not ask for an OpenAI API key, an AI account or credits. Running your own hardware still uses your electricity.

07Are my prompts and images uploaded to the cloud?

The application processes your prompts and images on your PC and saves results to disk. Initial setup downloads components from their upstream repositories; it does not send your creations to an external generation service.

08Which GPU do I need? Does it work with an RTX 3080?

The beta uses an NVIDIA GPU and the CUDA engine. It has been tested on a 32 GB RTX 5090. The 10 GB RTX 3080 is a compatibility target that has not yet been validated on a real device. AMD, Intel and CPU-only generation are not supported by this package. Start with preview resolution and the 8 GiB budget; Windows and other applications also consume memory.

09How do I set an animated Windows wallpaper?

Select a completed video in the library, choose your display and click “Poner de fondo”. The player sits behind desktop icons. You can pause or remove it, and Windows retains your previous background. This beta controls one display at a time; automatic startup is still pending.

10Does AI generate video in real time?

It generates real video locally, but not instantly or continuously. First it creates a 1.4, 3 or 5 second clip at 24 FPS; generation may take several minutes. It then unloads the model and loops the MP4. Forward-and-reverse mode doubles playback duration by reversing motion, without guaranteeing physically perfect animation.

11What does GGUF mean and why is it used?

GGUF is a format for distributing model weights, not the name of an AI. This application uses quantized versions, which reduce weight size and memory requirements compared with higher-precision versions. Results and performance also depend on the model, resolution and hardware.

12Where are models and scenes saved?

By default, in %LOCALAPPDATA%\MAS Wallpaper Studio. Paste that path into File Explorer to find it. Keep this folder when updating to retain your models, images and scenes. The application also supports a custom folder through the --data-dir option.

13How do I update or remove the application?

Close the application before replacing its executable with a new version. Keeping the data folder preserves your creations. To remove this beta, delete the executable and its extracted folder. Models and results remain in your profile until you choose to delete them.

14What if Windows will not open the file?

This beta does not yet have a digital signature, so Windows may display a warning. Download only the official package, check its version and integrity, and do not disable system protection. If execution is blocked or WebView2 is missing, review the requirements and contact the studio with the error message.

15Does 4K resolution mean everything is generated at native 4K?

No. The beta generates a source video and adapts output to the display. It attempts AI enhancement when time permits and uses conventional scaling when needed. Samples have been exported at 1080p, 3440 × 1440 and 4K, but detail depends on the source. Output is capped at approximately 8.3 million pixels and 5120 pixels on either side.

16What happens if it takes longer than five minutes?

The application stops the video attempt to respect the waiting limit. Export and enhancement share the generation time budget. Try a shorter clip, a lower generation resolution or Wan 5B. Not every configuration is guaranteed to finish on every computer.

17Can I use different wallpapers on multiple monitors at once?

This beta lets you choose a display, but controls one at a time. It does not yet offer simultaneous independent wallpapers on multiple monitors. If the output format differs from the original, it preserves the complete scene with blurred surrounding areas.

18Do videos loop seamlessly?

Clips repeat at the end. Normal mode plays forward and may show a cut between the final and first frames. The forward-and-reverse option reverses motion. Neither a seamless loop nor infinite non-repeating animation is promised.

19Is this a free version of Wallpaper Engine?

MAS Wallpaper Studio is an independent Martinez AI Studios product. Wallpaper Engine is a different application and its brand belongs to its owners. MAS offers a free beta for exploring local AI image and video creation and is not commercially affiliated with that product.

20Why is the video gallery still in preparation?

We are reserving it for finished examples the studio can recommend. The 3D scene on this page is a web illustration, not evidence of generator quality. Videos will be published once reviewed, with resolution, model and context. Meanwhile, you can explore the beta yourself.
