AI-Native Game Development Mastery

A Martinez AI Studios education product

From Idea to Steam Release — Architecture, Design, AI Orchestration, QA and Production

AI executes faster; you still need technical and design judgment. This program does not position AI as a replacement for understanding systems, nor as a shortcut that requires no knowledge.

Learning outcomes

  1. 01Define a game system in plain language: loop, state, ownership, and invariants.
  2. 02Specify work for an AI implementation partner without giving it license to rewrite neighboring systems.
  3. 03Separate behavior, data, presentation, and persistence.
  4. 04Design acceptance criteria and regression tests that fail for the right reason.
  5. 05Recognize implementations that pass tests but fail in play.
  6. 06Reason about architecture, performance, QA, and Steam release as connected disciplines.

Prerequisites

  1. 01Comfort using AI writing or coding tools is enough to start. You do not need to memorize syntax.
  2. 02Willingness to study systems, not only generate output.
  3. 03A computer capable of running a game project and an AI coding assistant.
  4. 04English or Spanish reading proficiency — the Academy publishes both.

Flagship FAQ

Is this a university degree or accredited certification?

No. Martinez AI Studios Academy is a private professional training program. A certificate of completion, when issued after real course completion, is a private professional credential — not a university degree, college credit, or government certification. 170 lessons are free to read. LMS certificates stay closed until enrollment opens.

Do I need to memorize programming syntax?

No. You do need to understand concepts — state, architecture, data, testing, and shipping — so you can direct AI tools and catch incorrect implementations. AI can write the code. You still need to understand the game.

Are the lessons free to read?

Yes. All 170 flagship lessons are free to read on this site in English and Spanish. LMS accounts, progress, downloads, and certificates are still closed. Supporting the Academy through Stripe is optional (you choose the amount) and does not unlock extra lesson text.

Does the Academy guarantee a job or Steam success?

No. The program teaches professional practice from a real shipped game. Outcomes depend on the student’s work. We do not publish fake enrollment counts or testimonials.

How does CONTRABAND fit in?

CONTRABAND: Edge of the Fold is the signature case study. The published game and studio pages are live. Verified Academy postmortems are on the case-study index; they stay within public, non-sensitive facts.
